Community
While attending the University of Delaware, Mike was involved in a variety of community and volunteer organizations. He served as a Peer Mentor in Delaware's H.E.N.S. (Helping Each Newcomer Succeed), a program in which an upperclassmen help freshman student-athletes adjust to college life. Mike also worked with children at the North East Treatment Center, a drug rehabilitation facility in Wilmington, Delaware.
